Best of NOLA

At the end of Spring Break in Houma we snuck in one day in New Orleans before heading home.  We knew JT would absolutely love the WWII Museum.  It's been expanded so much - the last time we were there it was only the D Day Museum.

We had lunch at Cochon, and in the afternoon walked around the city a bit, stopping by Jackson Square and my favorite little needlepoint shop, The Quarter Stitch, where I bought a beautiful canvas that will probably take me a year or two to finish!

After dinner at Drago's we had to treat JT to some beignets at Cafe du Monde.

It was sad for Mimi and Poppy to leave, but we got to spend the night in Brent's favorite hotel, The Windsor Court, before heading back home in the morning.
