Nadeen and Parrish were married at Chateau Elan, a lovely winery outside of Atlanta. We needed to do some last minute shopping and alterations to make sure Joseph had appropriate "cocktail attire." He was such a dapper little guy that night, and those wingtips I picked up (on clearance at Payless, no less!) were too adorable.
Unfortunately it was cold and rainy the entire weekend, so the wedding was held indoors in the cask room. None-the-less, it was a beautiful ceremony and an otherwise perfect night for the newlyweds.
It's been a long while since we've seen some of our other fellow residents from Georgetown, and although we get to see them here and there on Facebook and such, it was really great to reconnect with them in person. Everyone thought we cleaned up pretty well, and Joseph has found a new best friend in Dr. Stanley.
Stanley (on the right) was an intern with Nadeen, Brent was a 2nd year resident, and Sophia (on the left, between me and Nadeen) was a senior resident with me. So weird to have all of us together again outside of that hospital setting after all these years. We might be successful physicians now, but it was a riot remembering those times when we were oh so young and clueless together.
Nadeen was a truly beautiful bride! I just wish more people knew how to use actual cameras so we had better pictures of her. We're so glad we could be part of this celebration. Much love to Nadeen and Parrish, aka #theunderwoods15!
