Money Tower

Most of the homework these last few months in 2nd grade has been project-based.  Instead of a nightly worksheet or reading assignment, the kids are given several weeks to work on a bigger thing - in this case, creating a game utilizing money skills they learned in their last unit.

Joseph's game board was inspired by the magna-tiles he was recently playing with, and evolved from there.  I gathered the supplies, but he created the board and game pieces on his own.

Joseph has been pretty impressive with his math and money skills.  If he could just remember the difference between a "b" and a "d" we'd be all set.  The most important rule of the game: HAVE FUN!
