Learning to ride a 2 wheel bike and celebrating a birthday wasn't exciting enough for one weekend, so right in the middle of his party, Joseph lost his 1st tooth! Before lunch that adorable smile was still perfectly intact:
But soon afterwards Joseph noticed that his loose tooth was barely hanging on. Although I tried to discourage him for fear of losing it forever in the water, Joe Joe kept wiggling it and wiggling it until he surprisingly found it being held in his little fingers.
We managed to keep it safe until we got home! Joseph has been patiently waiting for this for months, and the Tooth Fairy pillow I made him was all ready to go. He put the tooth in a small envelope and put the envelope in the pillow pocket.
He woke up early and excitedly ran from his room to show us that the Tooth Fairy had indeed come in the night. The tooth was gone and the envelope was full of confetti stars and a $5 bill. She also left him a copy of Dr. Seuss's "Tooth Book" with a sweet note.
He's already moved on to wiggling the other teeth that he says are loose!
