Has everyone heard we're about to be hit with a massive, potentially record-breaking snowstorm? Upwards of 2 feet could fall on DC overnight! Everything (including my office) shut down early today, and the grocery store shelves were emptied as people braced to spend the next few days going nowhere fast. It doesn't seem plausible that that much havoc could happen while we sleep tonight, but we'll find out in the morning. Here's how things are looking as of dinner time Friday night, around 6:30 pm.
I've discovered the "no flash" setting on my SLR, and have been using it a lot with great results. Below is the same scene at the same time using the flash. Very different! Cool how it highlights the snowflakes, but the 1st one is so much warmer and peaceful to me. What do you think?
