More fun than a basket of monkeys!

Sorry, we didn't have any barrels handy (or we would have tried it, I'm sure!)

Jack was kind enough to share all his toys today, and even let us borrow the "J" from his name to spell out "Joe." Meanwhile, Jack was off literally trying to walk a mile in my shoes. As always, we all had a great time together!

As an aside, kudos to whoever posed as Heidi Klum and posted a comment on our "Project Runway" entry. Pure genius, and I nearly jumped out of my seat for a second!! It reeks of Lance and Rodney, but you never know, since almost everyone I know watches "PR5."

Later, Alligator!

Even though I posted something similar recently, this video is especially for Mimi and Poppy, who sent JT "The Clacker" for his birthday. I'm not sure that's really it's name, but the 3 gators go "clack clack clack" as he pushes it, so that's what we call it.

I especially love this video because he shows such ingenuity and dexterity in turning around to go the other direction, but then just falls right over on his face when he stops!

Project Runway

I LOVE that show! Since we had no play date today, we had some time to kill, so "we" decided to have a little fashion show with some of the many birthday gifts Joseph got. Interesting to see how many different looks he can pull off.

The Prepster (compliments of Aunt Angie):
He's SO cute in this I could just eat him up, along with that cupcake!

The skate punk (courtesy of Lance 'n the Gang):
Yes, I know he looks like he's 5 years old!

The baller (from the Keller's, but my guess is Samantha did the shopping):
Conveniently coordinates with the net he got from the Pendleton's.

And of course, the LSU fanatic (any guesses who sent that?):

Remember: In fashion, one day you're in, and the next day, you're OUT!
Make it work!!!

Demolition Derby

Joseph doesn't need one of us to hold his hands and walk him around the room anymore, now that he has some toys that do the same job. We have good "circular flow" in our house, so can make many laps around the 1st floor without stopping (funny, since he's pushing a race car). This video was taken a few days ago, when he didn't have such great control of the steering. Hence, the title...

Can you tell I've had blogger burnout? Haven't been posting or even checking everyone else's blogs often enough recently, but hopefully that will change.

Here comes Trouble!

With a capital "T!"
The houseplants are shrinking, one leaf at a time,

he makes a bee-line for anything and everything you put down for 1 second, even just an empty box,

and soon enough he'll be tall enough to reach the cats, no matter how high they climb!

(I was too slow with the camera on that last pic - he was actually looking up at Simon and reaching out for his tail!)
